NOTE: The following instructions will not work if your password has already expired. You will need to contact Jeff Spears.

Use the following instructions for WUSTL Key password change when you are off campus. If you have any questions or problems following these instructions please call Jeff (5-3123) or Galen (5-5236) for help.

  1. Connect to VPN first.
    For instructions on connecting to VPN click here.
  1. Open Enterprise Connect by clicking the key icon in the top right of your screen (menu bar).
  2. Select Change password…
  1. Enter your current WUSTL Key password in the Old Password field, followed by your new password (twice). Select Change Password.
  1. You should see a Password change successful pop-up.

Outlook on the Mac and Mobile passwords

  1. Outlook will prompt you to enter your new password in a WUSTL login page popup in the near future.

WiFi passwords

You will need to wait until you are on campus to complete the processes below.
Computer WiFi passwords

Mobile Devices Wifi password
IOS WiFi eduroam password
Android WiFi eduroam password

Mobile Devices WUSTL Email password
IOS WUSTL email password (depending on your configuration)
Android WUSTL email password

TIP: WUSTL Key passwords are

  1. between 8-16 characters
  2. cannot be the same as your last 5 passwords
  3. nor contain 2 consecutive letters of your first name, last name, or WUSTL Key
  4. and must contain at least 3 of the following:
    a number
    a lower-case letter
    an uppercase letter
    or a special character.

Notes:

  • You will now log into your Mac with your new WUSTL key password. Your username does not change.
  • If you change your password following ITs email instructions (this is not the preferred method) on connect.wustl.edu, you will log into your Mac with your previous password, and then EnterpriseConnect will prompt you to change your Mac password to match your new WUSTL Key password.
