Kurt Mueller is Marcomm’s liaison with WU Telecom and is our telephone counselor. As a telephone counselor, Kurt handles new service and installations, changes in service and office moves.

Generally, if you experience problems with your handsets contact Kurt at 5-4620 or kurt_mueller@wustl.edu. For most other problems, such as accessing your voice mail, call the Telecom helpline at 5-5005.

An e-fax solution is available to the University Marketing & Communications staff. Patrick Holt will work with you to coordinate all outgoing faxes. Any incoming faxes are sent to 314-666-6514. They will be converted to PDF files when received and are stored in a Box folder. If you are expecting a fax, please let Patrick know and he will forward it to you when it is received.

Mobile Devices

Department owned cell phones and tablets are managed by Galen Harrison who is responsible for purchases, equipment upgrades, replacement if lost/stolen or damaged and Verizon account management.

Technical support for mobile devices is provided by Galen and Jeff Spears. Online help for email setup on iPhones and iPads can be found at the iOS page of the university’s Office 365 site. Verizon Wireless can provide limited support if Galen and Jeff are not immediately available.

Requests for a mobile device must be made through your immediate supervisor.
