You are key to maintaining an adequate amount of supplies on hand by notifying the appropriate person when supplies are low — especially if you are taking the last item. You will be thanked for letting them know.

Office Supplies (on hand): Where can you find pens, tape, markers, big envelopes, and general office items?  In the supply closet, room 349 (across from room 346). All office supplies are gathered in one location as part of the university’s sustainability efforts.

What about paper for printers and copiers?  On the second floor, look in the closets across from the Social Media Hub (room 211). On the third floor, look in the cabinets above the counter with the paper cutter to the left of the Xerox (across from room 346).

Additional reams of paper can be found on the third floor in the mailroom cabinets below the mailboxes (across from room 382).

Office Supplies (how to order): What if the supply closet is low or out of an item?  Please let Kurt Mueller know as soon as possible.  He will add the item to the next order.

What about special needs or needs for special projects?  Please gather as much exact information as you can and forward it Kurt.

If Kurt is not in the office, please work with Patrick Holt.

Batteries: Rechargeable batteries are located at the reception desk. Please bring your depleted batteries to the reception desk in exchange for fully charged batteries. There will be AA and AAA batteries available.

Electronic Supplies: If you are in need of peripheral devices or equipment for computers, please contact Jeff Spears or Galen Harrison about your request. This would cover items such as headsets, keyboards, mice, adapters, etc.

Purchasing items through Amazon.com: It is preferred that all office supply purchases are made through the university’s preferred suppliers in Marketplace by Kurt. Whenever you have a need that is not covered through the suppliers in Marketplace, if you want to get comparative pricing or if you need something quickly, the university’s Amazon Master Business account is an option. The Amazon Master Business account provides discounted pricing, the elimination of taxes, and free shipping in certain instances. All department Amazon orders need to go through Galen Harrison, who is the University Marketing & Communications Amazon Master Business account holder. If you need to purchase something through Amazon please obtain approval from your supervisor. Once approved,  submit the Amazon URL(s) of the item needed to Galen and he will place the order. Two-day shipping is possible if the item(s) qualify for Amazon Prime.

Furniture: If you are in need of furniture or repair to your furniture or fixtures, please contact Kurt Mueller or Galen Harrison about your request. This would cover items such as chairs, whiteboards, cabinets, etc.

Other Supplies: If you notice that supplies are running low, please let Kurt or Patrick know.
