As part of Washington University Information Technology, I serve as a senior tech support specialist within the Public Affairs office. In this role, I have the unique opportunity to work closely with creative and administrative staff providing technology solutions at all levels.
The scope of my work includes project planning, implementation and support. The landscape is always changing, and I encounter myriad technical challenges daily. I frequently answer to “help,” which I enjoy.
In this role, I also enjoy having creative technical freedom, where I am able to apply my 17 years of computer experience (spanning Unix, Linux, OS X and Windows) and eight years of creative print experience to solving problems.
When I’m not solving technical issues, I step away from computers and enjoy the outdoors: landscape and macro photography, kayaking and hiking.
